2008 Camp Details

Age Levels:

Camps are open to children entering grades 4-5 and 6-8.

Dates:

Grades 4-5, June 23-June 27, 2008, 10 am – 2pm

Grades 6-8, July 21-July 25, 2008, 10 am – 2 pm

Where:

Camps are held at the Briggs Animal Adoption Center, located in Charles Town, WV.

General Itinerary:

Campers have a terrific time each week as they participate in a variety of activities!  The camps include:

• Guest speakers and animal friends
• A tour the adoption facility 
• Introduction to animal careers    
• Games, drama, and learning activities
• Indoor and outdoor fun
• Animal-related crafts and arts
• Light snacks and beverages 

Special Notes:

On each Friday of the 2008 camps (June 27 and July 25), campers will present self-created skits about animals!  Parents, relatives, friends, and neighbors are invited to join us at 1pm each Friday for an hour of fun and drama!
