    KIND KIDS spent two weeks learning about the basic needs of all living creatures. With a special focus on responsible pet care and kindness, campers participated in socializing with BAAC cats and dogs, creating toys and treats, and helping out with baths for our friendliest canines!

    This camper and kitty have fun together through an isolation room window.  A curious camper tries on an xray machine glove while exploring the exam room.

    Campers check out the cool (and important!) grooming brushes and combs. Louise is ready to dry off after a good scrub in the tub from the campers!

    Some energetic deer prepare to make a run for their food source.  The deer must outrun the wolves who will try to eat them!     

    Frosting and decorating dog biscuits for our canine adoptables is sticky work!  Our BAAC adoptable dogs are gonna go nuts for these yummy concoctions!

    Campers make some new friends with alpacas Marco and Casper!  This little torty survived getting run over by a car and now he's a wildlife ambassador!

    Who says rocks can't be a good friend?  Meet one of our newest!

    Empathy for all life begins young and can be nurtured into adulthood.  Let us always encourage our children to act with kindness and love for animals.
