NHES PLEDGES A $2,500
REWARD TO AID BOOBOO

We have contacted The Humane Society of Morgan County (HSMC) to offer our pledge of an additional $2,500 to the reward raised for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the recent cruelty case involving Booboo in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Read about Booboo's story.

Booboo, a 7-month-old female Lab mix puppy, was reportedly tied to a vehicle and then dragged across pavement. The severity of the injuries consist of its rear feet worn to the bone with the nails, ligaments, and tendons torn away. Booboo is progressing well, but will never fully heal.

"The National Humane Education Society abhors all forms of cruelty against animals," states NHES's President, Jim Taylor. "The perpetrator of this crime must be punished."

If you have any information about this heinous crime, NHES asks that you please contact the Morgan County Sheriff's Department at (304) 258-1067 or the HSMC at (304) 258-5592.
