To Representative Martha McSally (R-AZ) for introducing the Humane Cosmetics Act (H.R. 2858) to phase out the use of animal testing for cosmetics and the sale of cosmetics tested on animals.
The Humane Cosmetics Act, which aims to end the use of animal testing in the creation of cosmetics sold in the U.S. has once again been introduced to the 114th Congress. Currently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not require that cosmetics be tested on animals. Nonetheless, animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and other animals continue to be subjected to painful and often lethal tests during the creation of cosmetic products. Worst of all, these tests are completely unnecessary. H.R. 2858, also known as the Humane Cosmetics Act is a vital bipartisan bill introduced by Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) that would prohibit any company or agency to employ animal testing or contract a third party to employ animal testing for the creation of a cosmetic. The law would also prohibit the sale of animal-tested cosmetics.

we do not want animals to suffer for beauty
No makeup should be tested on animals, it is cruel and unnecessary.
Thank you.
It’s time we stop subjecting animals to cruel tests on cosmetics. We have the technology to use non living beings for testing, so it’s time to STOP now. Please SUPPORT the Humane Cosmetics Act.
