Welcome to our Collection of Animal Welfare Materials! NHES provides a wide variety of educational posters, brochures, and other materials - most of which are free of charge - to help grassroots animal welfare education efforts.

International orders, please email education@nhes.org for more information Frequently Asked Questions v How much do the NHES posters and brochures cost? Absolutely nothing - our posters and brochures are always free! The only thing you pay for is shipping! Of course we always appreciate additional donations for our materials! You can order hardcopies and/or download online editions at no charge for the materials themselves. v How much does shipping cost? To help offset the costs of the free materials program a shipping/handling fee, payable by debit/credit card, is due at time of placing an order for brochures and posters. The shipping/handling fee scale for brochures and posters: $3.00 for every 100 pieces or less $5.00 for every 500 pieces or less $1.00 for every 250 pieces or less over the first 500 in an order A “piece” is defined as 1 brochure or 1 poster. How do I view the posters and brochures online? To view our 8 posters and 26 brochures, simply click on the links (titles) in the Related Articles column on the left. v How do I download and print online posters and brochures? To download You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or above installed on your computer to view the materials. If you don't have Acrobat on your PC, you may download it free at http://www.adobe.com. Please be patient and allow time for downloading. PDF files are large and will download in accordance with your internet connection. To print Posters: Easy as the "click of a button"—just select print! Posters will print at 8.5 x 11" but are also available through mail order at the original size of 11 x 17.5”. Brochures: Each brochure requires a few steps.

Larger orders can be accommodated; please include details as necessary in your request. The maximum order is generally 3000 pieces. v Can I distribute NHES posters to a large number of school students? We have found that the best practice for efficiently distributing NHES educational posters to large school audiences is to:
v How long do orders take to arrive? Materials often arrive within 1.5 weeks; however, please allow 2 - 3 weeks for shipping/handling. We ship all items via Media Mail unless otherwise specified. We can ship via Priority Mail but this will increase shipping cost. v Does NHES ship internationally? International orders, please email education@nhes.org for more information. v Does NHES have a lesson guide for younger audiences? Yes! The Guide is available for just $5 per copy, plus $2.50 shipping & handling. v Can you recommend any films or books to supplement my presentations? Please browse the Focus on Animals free film library program and the NHES recommended reading lists. v Are the NHES materials available in Spanish or other languages? At this time, NHES materials are only available in English. If you would like educational materials in another language, please feel free to email education@nhes.org for suggested resources. There are no restrictions on using NHES posters and brochures for education, outreach, fundraising, etc. We simply ask that NHES be credited for the production and distribution of our materials. Your organization’s name and contact information may be freely added to NHES posters and brochures as long as it does not cover up the NHES name and contact information. v I want to make a donation towards the free materials - how much do you suggest? As a nonprofit organization, NHES relies solely on individual contributions to help us continue our free education materials program. To help offset the costs of our free brochures and posters a suggested donation of 5 cents per brochure and 25 cents per poster is greatly appreciated and can be added to the shipping/handling fee.
