Mail order materials

Hardcopy editions of the NHES educational brochures and posters are available free!

Send your requests to education@nhes.org.  (To recieve just a sampling of the NHES materials, enter "sample packet" in the subject line.)  Please include:

• Name (individual and organization, if applicable)
• Contact/mailing information
• Brief description of intended uses
• Type, titles and amounts

How do I view the posters and brochures?

To view our 5 posters and 26 brochures, simply click on the links in the Related Articles column on the left.

How much can I order?

The typical order is 100 brochures/10 posters per title requested, though larger orders can be accommodated.  Please include details as necessary in your request.

How long do orders take to arrive?

Though materials often arrive within 1.5 weeks, please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping/handling. 

I want to make a donation—how much do you suggest?

As a nonprofit organization, NHES relies solely on contributions from the general public in order to produce the free brochures and posters.  To help offset production/shipping costs, a suggested donation of .05 cents per brochure and .25 cents per poster is greatly appreciated, however, NHES welcomes any donation within your means.

Download, print and copy our brochures and posters (giving credit to NHES) free of charge!

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or above installed on your computer to view our materials. If you don't have Acrobat on your PC, you may download it free at http://www.adobe.com.  Please be patient and allow time for downloading.  PDF files are large and will download in accordance with your internet connection.

Print Instructions

Posters: Easy as the "click of a button"—just select print!  Posters will print at 8.5 x 11" but are also available through mail order at the original size of 11 x 17.5"

Brochures: Each brochure requires a few steps.

• Print brochure on the front and back of one 8.5 x 11” sheet of paper
• Choose the "2-sided" print option when bulk copying on a copy machine
• Trim the excess paper and fold accordingly

NHES's Guide to Humane Living & Learning will help local humane societies, teachers and individuals teach kindness to animals.  Remember, humane education curriculums should be compelling, and need to promote critical thinking and responsible decision-making.
