About the contest:

A great way to help animals is by writing letters to legislators and companies requesting them to ensure that animals are treated with kindness and respect.  NHES's founder, Anna C. Briggs, began her nearly 80 years of advocating for animals by writing on their behalf to the many people who can help improve animal treatment.
