The quick Cool Camp details: Open to children ages 5 - 14 years Encompass fun and creativity, while learning about responsible animal care, kindness, and more Include guest speakers, animal friends*, arts, games, and more $50 per camper K - 2 Grade and $75 per camper 3 - 8 Grade
The quick Registration details: Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis until camps are full, which may include up to the last week before each camp; registrations received after a camp is full are put on a waiting list. Please do NOT send payment in advance with a completed registration. You will receive a confirmation email with camp details and payment instructions as applicable after a registration has been processed.

KIND KIDS spent a week learning about the basic needs of all living creatures. With a special focus on responsible pet care and kindness, campers participated in socializing with BAAC cats and dogs, creating toys and treats, and helping out with baths for our friendliest canines! Guest speakers and animal friends from a variety of backgrounds to participated. JULY -- HUMANE HEROES! Grades 3 - 4 (mixed) Grades 5 - 6 (mixed) July 6 - 10 July 20 - 24 Morning: 8:00 am - 11: 00 am Morning: 8:00 am - 11: 00 am OPEN OPEN Afternoon: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Afternoon: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm CLOSED OPEN HUMANE HEROES take kindness and caring to the next level. These campers will spend a week learning about the many types of animals in the world and how we as people share it with them. With an emphasis on introducing animal welfare considerations and related careers, campers will participate in a variety of games and drama, as well as BAAC cat and dog interaction to learn how they can help animals in the real world! Guest speakers and animal friends from a variety of backgrounds to participate.* AUGUST -- ANIMAL ADVOCATES! Grades 7 - 8 (mixed) August 3 - 7 Morning: 8:00 am - 11:00 am OPEN Afternoon: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm OPEN ANIMAL ADVOCATES will learn what it takes to make a positive difference for animals! After discovering an animal welfare issue in their own "backyards" in the town of "The BAAC," campers will work to resolve the situation. From investigation to advocacy to legislation, this will be serious fun for kids who want to take positive action to help animals! Guest speakers and animal friends from a variety of backgrounds to participate.* # *Campers will have daily opportunities during the camps to interact with a variety of BAAC animals and visiting guest animals; however, to safe-guard the well-being of our animal friends, time spent with them is limited and closely monitored. |
