You can look this up in a phone book or online. · Start an “Animal Welfare” club! Have weekly or monthly meetings discussing the needs of animals in your community and come up with ideas to help fill these needs. · Don’t disturb birds’ nests or feed wildlife. If you find an injured wild animal, tell your parents and have them call your local animal rehabilitator. · Take up a collection to raise money for your local animal shelter to spay and neuter the animals. · Donate used towels, blankets, and comforters to your local animal shelter. The shelter will use these as bedding for the animals waiting for new homes. · Volunteer to walk your dog or neighbors’ dogs so they get plenty of exercise. |
