Footin’ for Animals is a 5K & 10K walk/run held at the beautiful State Arboretum of Virginia, located at Blandy Experimental Farm in Boyce, VA. Enjoy a fun-filled day while supporting The Briggs Animal Adoption Center (BAAC), A program of The National Humane Education Society. BAAC’s primary mission is to place cats and dogs into loving homes with people who will fulfill lifelong commitments to them by accepting them as members of their families. We rely solely on charitable contributions to achieve our mission and carry out our programs on behalf of cats and dogs.

Walk or run by yourself or bring along your dog to join the fun! Wear your Halloween costume or dress up your dog for some extra fall fun! Don’t have a dog to run with? You can see adorable dogs that are available for adoption at the start line and on the race course. Participants receive an event t-shirt, water, coffee, and snacks.

This USATF Certified 5K Course is a trail that runs through the beautiful State Arboretum of Virginia. VIEW THE COURSE MAP HERE.
