NC County Bans Dog Tethering - National Humane Education Society

To Forsyth County Commission in Forsyth County, NC,  for passing a law to ban dog tethering.

According to a recent news article, dog tethering will no longer be allowed if you live within Forsyth County, NC.  It passed with 4-3 votes. The law will give residents a year to comply with exceptions for recreational and legal hunting activities. People found guilty on the first offense will receive a warning, and second-time offenders will face a fine.   

 Take Action: Forsyth County, NC, residents contact your county commission and thank them for banning dog tethering.  Residents of other locales, support anti-tethering ordinances in your area.
