Blessing of the Animals
Animals enrich our lives in so many ways. St. Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day celebrated on October 4th holds a special place in our heart because as the Patron Saint of Animals, St. Francis loved and was a champion for all creatures, big and small, as I know you are too.
We, at The National Humane Education Society (NHES), are grateful to you for helping us rescue and care for neglected and abused animals for over 75 years and counting. To recognize the special bond we have with animals, on October 25, 2025, we will be holding a St. Francis of Assisi Blessing of the Animals for our resident animals and our adoption alumni during our 28th Annual Adoption Alumni event. |

Ian and Eclipse were once one of the nearly 200 animals at NHES’ flagship animal care facility, the Briggs Animal Adoption Center, who were adopted into loving homes. Any offering that you can give to help more animals in need like Ian and Eclipse would be greatly appreciated. Such an offering will enable us to help even more animals who have been victims of abandonment, neglect and abuse; thereby providing them with the protection and love that St. Francis wants for all animals.
If you would like your animals’ names to be read at the blessing, please fill out the form below. Thank you for your kindness and support to help save more animals like Ian and Eclipse. |
