Animal Advocates Welcome

Welcome Animal Advocates,

We are very excited to have you participate in our July 21-25, 2025, summer camp. Camp is held in the Humane Education Center (located in the upper parking lot near the life-size rhino statue) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 3731 Berryville Pike, Charles Town, WV 25414.

Drop off: 8:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Pick up:  3:00 p.m.
*If you are running late, please let one of us know by calling or texting 703-296-5948 (Megan) or 540-450-7778 (Rebecca).

Needed for the Weekly Adventure:

• Lunch—Please pack a lunch each day except for Friday 

• Water—Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

• Shoes—Close-toed shoes are recommended for playing games and walking around the property.

• Outdoor Protection—We are planning a nature hike around the campus. Sunblock and bug spray is provided. If you use a specific kind, please pack it.

• Clothing—Wear stuff that you don’t mind getting dirty. We have some water activities planned, so please pack a change of clothes each day. On Friday we will have a color run on our walk trail, so be sure campers have clothes packed on this day.

• Smiles—We will be taking pictures of your camp memories to share with your families.

Friendly Reminders:

Daily Snacks—Popcorn and Ice Pops

Cell Phones—If you bring a cell phone to take pictures of the animals, we kindly ask you to leave it in your bag during games and other activities.

Friday Fun Color Run– On Friday campers will participate in a fun color run on our on-campus walking trail. It is especially important that campers bring a change of clothes for this day, as they may want to change out of their messy clothes to be more comfortable for the rest of the day.
