When Hope first arrived, she needed a good meal.
Beneath her soft, dusty coat… Hope was fading.
At less than 6 pounds, our vet assessed Hope as “very underweight.” Her eyes were infected, she hadn’t been spayed, her teeth were in terrible condition, and she was too fragile for surgery or dental work. It was clear she’d gone far too long without proper care or nutrition.
We placed her in a loving foster home with a longtime NHES caregiver—someone who knew how to gently coax her back to health. Within days, she began to eat with confidence. Slowly, the weight and her strength began to return. And so did her joy.
That’s what food can do. That’s what you can do.
Your donation today could mean the difference between a hungry animal going another day without food … or one more meal in a clean bowl, served with love.
Because of you, we can say, yes, when a community member knocks on our door asking for help feeding the pet they love.
Because of you, Hope got a second chance.
Thank you for helping to heal her—from the inside out.
Thank you for making a gift today to feed hope this holiday season—for Hope and hundreds of other animals depending on us.
