Humane Heroes Welcome

Welcome Humane Heroes,

We are very excited to have you participate in our July 7-11, 2025, summer camp. Camp is held in the Humane Education Center (located in the upper parking lot near the life-size rhino statue) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 3731 Berryville Pike, Charles Town, WV 25414.

Drop off: 8:50 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Pick up:  3:00 p.m.
*If you are running late, please let one of us know by calling or texting 703-296-5948 (Megan) or 540-450-7778 (Rebecca).

Needed for the Weekly Adventure:

• Lunch—Please pack a peanut-free lunch because we have several allergies.

• Water—Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

• Shoes—Close-toed shoes are recommended for playing games and walking around the property. 

• Outdoor Protection—We are planning a nature hike around the campus. Sunblock and bug spray is provided. If you use a specific kind, please pack it. 

• Clothing—Wear stuff that you don’t mind getting dirty. We have some water activities planned, so please pack a change of clothes each day. 

• Smiles—We will be taking pictures of your camp memories to share with your families.

Friendly Reminders:

Daily Snacks—Popcorn and Ice Pops 

Cell Phones—If you bring a cell phone to take pictures of the animals, we kindly ask you to leave it in your bag during games and other activities.
